I first started as an Office Manager/Receptionist back in August 1997. With little to no experience in Administration and IT, I had to work hard to adapt to this new role I found myself in. I had to develop many policies and procedures for this new real estate business and I am proud to say that they have stood the test of time and many are still the basis of the company’s systems today. I continued in real estate as an Office Manager until 2008 when I had the opportunity to try another industry in a public company – contract mining. I found many similarities in contract mining and real estate – in both fields you offer a service, build long term trusting relationships and ultimately create mutual benefits for both parties. In 2010 I was ready to jump back to the real estate Stepping away from the real estate industry and working in a public company gave me a new perspective on business. Where structure underpins the business and all vested parties can work towards the common goals. I want the team at Haiven Property Central to work with enthusiasm and integrity and every person that we meet understands this from the outset. In 2019 I completed my Diploma of Property Services (Agency Management) and then 2020 I became Licensee and in July 2020 became a partner and director, alongside Clare and Kaylee. The three of us make a formidable team where we can each support each other in our individual roles but also complement each other for our differences.

Believing that genuine interest fosters learning, I continuously sought to upskill, earning various accolades as I advanced through the industry. In 2017, I joined The Property Exchange as Head of Property Management, where I lead by example, prioritize team support, and apply my problem-solving skills to the fast-paced challenges of the field. I value integrity and believe real estate is fundamentally about people—owners, tenants, and clients all deserve respect and attention. In 2020, I became a shareholder at TPE, known for its innovative approach and embracive culture, which enhances our customer service. Outside work, I’m an avid AFL supporter and food and wine lover. I cherish time with family and friends, and enjoy unwinding with a good book. I’m excited to contribute further to our mission alongside my colleagues.

I love planning and keeping everything in order, whether it's managing schedules or handling specific details. This helps keep things running smoothly and deliver great service to clients. My favorite part of selling homes is watching them transform from start to finish. Real estate has been a significant part of my life from a young age, following in my mum's footsteps. From attending my mum's home opens when I was a teenager to assisting out in the office in my late teens, we shared the same passion and created a strong bond, which inspired me to complete my sales and property management registration. Being a property manager can be challenging at times. However, I really enjoy helping people and removing the stress involved in owning a property. I always find that there is more than one way to solve a problem. I enjoy making new connections, and this has been the best role for me because I get to meet a wide variety of people on a daily basis. The industry has provided me with many skills that I have been able to implement in my own small business and in my everyday life.

An opportunity arose 15 years ago in New Zealand when I was asked to work with my sister at her company as a property manager. I soon discovered that PM not only stands for property management but also represents people management. Since that day, I haven't looked back and enjoy working and building rapport with so many people. After making the plunge across the Tasman Ditch, I wanted to continue my love for real estate and the challenges it brings. With a fastidious nature and high attention to detail, I manage my clients' properties as if they were my own. I thoroughly enjoy that there is never a dull moment in property management and that there is always something new to learn in a situation you have never encountered before. Our team of property managers are fantastic. We all have our individual personalities, which helps with the challenges that property management can bring.
